You should be able to name the person
An ironmongery schedule is a compliance document. Building control reads it, a quantity surveyor prices from it, a joiner works to it, and it carries somebody’s judgement on every door in the building.
Small enough that the person who writes your schedule is the person who answers the phone.
That is deliberately a short list, and it is why nothing here waits in a queue. Small supply gets the same attention as a full package.
Who you will be dealing with
Two names, not a team inbox
Kevin Ryan
Runs the business and writes the schedules. A large practice and a main contractor one week, a local builder with one stiff lock the next. The drawings get read properly either way, before anything is priced.
Kay
Access control and electronic hardware, and a diploma qualified ironmonger. The electronic lines on a schedule are written by somebody who also knows what the door has to do when the power fails.
What people say
All six, in fullKevin and his team at Proline have been my “go-to” default choice for ironmongery selection, and specification, for several years. Their knowledge and speed of response to queries, and their willingness to create schedules has proved beneficial on every occasion. Highly recommended.
We work with Kay at Proline, who supplies our access control equipment. Kay is very knowledgeable within the trade and is also a diploma qualified ironmonger.
Proline have supplied us with architectural ironmongery for more than 10 years now. They are helpful and understanding of our needs and timescales and as willing to put effort into small supply as large, which is a real benefit for a bespoke company like ours.
I have been using Proline for the past 3 years. The team are very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend them. Definitely a go to supplier.
Absolutely brilliant service from Kevin and the team at Proline. I really appreciated the expert advice, so I knew I was getting exactly what I needed. And the quality of the products are superb, I would really recommend them. It’s the complete service from start to finish!
Collected and delivered the bath handles to site. Really good finish and fast turnaround on these. Definitely a company to use on any other bath handles or products we need re-chroming on the project.

Numbered floor plans and a door schedule are enough to begin. From the first email to the key register at handover, you are dealing with one of two people.
