Yes. Approved Document M and BS 8300-2 are applied door by door as we write the schedule, not checked on site after the doors are hung. It comes down to about twenty numbers.

Knobs are the exception
Furniture has to work one-handed. A knob does not, so it stays off the accessible openings and goes on the cupboards and the private doors instead.
What if the fire strategy disagrees?
It often does. The same door has to open easily and shut itself firmly against a latch, seals and air pressure. Swing-free closers and powered operators resolve it, opening by opening, on paper.

You do, when you choose the finish. Contrast is a finish decision, which makes it a scheduling decision. A handsome lever can fail on it, and that is settled on paper months before site.
